![]() When we take into account the fact that multiple file formats are supported and the user has the ability to record while he or she is actively watching or taking part in a video, the benefits before clear. Mirillis Action! is quite similar to other products and software of the same author in terms of its efficiency and its very user-friendly nature. This presentation is excellent for those who are wary about getting involved with more complicated platforms. User can easily add webcam video, microphone commentary or custom logo to game or screen video recordings. There is a settings menu found at the top right-hand corner providing a lot of additional features in an easy and transparent way using settings tabs. All of these can be adjusted as may be necessary. The right-hand side of the screen lists various functions including the current file format, the video size and the frame rate. A built-in video manager displays basic functions such as deleting, sharing, browsing and uploading.Īn easy-to-understand layout will highlight the number of recordings present as well as the total file size of the group. So, the user will not have to be extremely proficient in screen recording in order to enjoy its benefits. One of the major advantages of this package when compared to a similar utility such as Gameshow is the fact that it is equipped with a highly intuitive interface. ![]() Extremely smooth videos can be recorded while their file size will not take up much space on a hard drive. Mirillis Action! files are encoded using the latest hardware acceleration technologies like AMD APP, NVIDIA NVENC and Intel Quick Sync Video. This games utility employs Full-HD/4k 60p recording capabilities that are encoded directly into an MP4 format. ![]() In terms of digital quality, there is little left to the imagination thanks to professional-grade hardware acceleration. This is known as the Action! LIVE streaming option and it has proven to be very popular. Three common examples here include Facebook, YouTube and Twitch. So, it looks like I might switch to this software now since it works.Besides this stand-alone recording capability, this program allows gameplay streaming to other devices and online sources. I am able to record a video of any length without any lag and on playback, the voices are in sync with the video. It stated that a running program isn't compatible with certain visual elements of windows. When it started recording, the windows colour scheme changed to Windows 7 Basic. I went and downloaded another program to try. I don't have Blackberry software installed on my computer (I used to a few years ago when I had a Blackberry phone) so, why is it asking this when I start the software? The other issue I have is when I start Action!, a dialogue box starts and states that it is looking for Blackberry Software location. It is a shame as I really like this software for what I need it for. The video still did not run smoothly to record it. I then went into my performance settings for Windows 7 and set it to run as best performance. Then I recorded the next video that was longer (6 min), the video played okay on screen at first but, then maybe 1/4 of the way through, the video lagged a lot. I thought, great, this fixed the problem. The video I recorded was a short video (3 min) and when I played it back, the voices were in sync with the video. I tried another recording session and saved the video to my SSD. I had used version 1.?.?.? and did not get the same voice lag. I know my computer is getting old but, is there some other setting within Action! to get the voices in sync with the person talking? Or do I need to look for another program? The videos I am saving are on another 7200 rpm internal HD. Installed RAM = 8GB (maximum for my motherboard)Īction! is installed on my SSD that also contains my operating system. In the settings, I turned "Use multicore recording" off since I only have 2 cores. I really want to use mp4 because the avi files are a larger mb size. The result is a little better but, still out of sync. ![]() With avi, I tried the same video sizes and framerates. ![]() I need to use 720p or lower and 30 framerate or lower to stop the on-screen lag but, the voices are still out of sync. I cannot use 60 framerate and 1080p because the on screen video really lags in places. I then tried Video framerates from 60 down to 20 and still the same results. With the mp4, I tried setting the Video Size to 720, 480 and even Original still the voices are out of sync. The video is within Firefox browser and I make the on-screen video a small size (not full screen) sometimes this has helped with other programs in the past. I am trying Action! 2.1.0.0 and when I record a video, the voices are out of sync with the person talking. ![]()
